This crash course in portrait drawing will focus on the fundamental drawing elements of shape, scale, and spacial relationships in the human face. Using a mirror, the Instructor will guide participants through drafting a proportionate line drawing of themselves through observational and gestural techniques.

Materials needed: Paper and pencil (graphite pencils are ideal for creating a value scale but not necessary)
