INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
$67.50 - $60 for members (Apply member discount at checkout), $75 for non-members
Workshop duration: 3 hours
Do you have a digital camera that frustrates you every time you go to take a picture? Are you typically unhappy with how your pictures turn out and have no idea why they look the way they do? This introductory workshop uses lecture, demonstration, and guided group practice to cover basic camera functions and photographic techniques, intended to help beginners shooting in Automatic Mode gain control and consistency in their photographs. By learning how shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focus, file size, and basic composition affect your images, you will leave this workshop with the confidence to shoot in Manual Mode and achieve your creative vision in every photograph you take.
During this workshop we have the exciting opportunity to practice photographing in various parts of the historic Seagraves Fire Engine and Apparatus Manufacturing Plant, now known as The Fort and home of CPAC.
Please bring your digital camera and any necessary accessories, a pencil and notebook, as well as appropriate attire for exploring non climate-controlled parts of the building complex.
